Lost and Found

Humanity is a filthy animal, urban living bears the scars of our everyday lives.

The exhibition comprised of eleven local artists takes the detritus, the leftover of our

existence as its starting point; showcasing a multitude of different approaches underlined by

their various backgrounds, mixing the influence of locality with their global

viewpoints.

Taking part in the first exhibition , since the beginning of the MAFA course. It seemed like a good opportunity to  materialize my research. Baby steps toward a hopefully coherent practice. The show was a thematic one, with a wider view on portraiture. I created a small painting based installation, of which I will expand on tomorrow.

Opening today (2nd of November) from 6:30-9:30 at Hundred Years Gallery in Hoxton, followed by performances on the 5th and a video screening on the 10th.

Hope to see you there.
