Patience is a clock which uses a human face to represent the passage of time. The eyes work in the same way as an analog clock’s hands, with the right eye indicating hours and the left eye indicating minutes. The mouth opens and closes to represent seconds.
Face clock from Japan. The hour and minute hands are simulated by the eyes, the right eye indicates the hour, the left eye indicates the minute. The second hand is simulated by the mouth, which acts as a reminder of the opening and closing of the mouth. Not only that, the presentation of sound is quite “magic.”
