Moment – Exhibition at The Flying Dutchman in London

The exhibition titled ‘Moment’ at The Flying Dutchman in London was made up of ten students in Chelsea college of art in London. By recording the present moment, the purpose of exhibition was making some moments that can become a scene in the future, not a return to the past.

My work titled ‘Isolation’ is based on people’s gesture. It contains bodies and relationships between the abstract and figurative images. Thus, with visual languages my works became focused on the rift between what was experienced and what could not be said.

To broaden my outlook, I traveled to several European countries few years ago. The experience played a crucial role in changing my idea and thought. By capturing people’s gesture and bodies with camera at the beach, I attempted to recreate the tension and balance between the figurative and non-figurative to the canvas.
